Great sun texture.But it would be better if the flares would show.

I kind of like the halo. However, the Sun *is* white ("color" of snow). It appears yellow in our sky because of the scattering of blue light (get above the atmosphere and it is "pure" white). Astronomers refer to the Sun as a yellow star because its spectrum peaks around yellow, but still our eyes see it as white.

Who cares if it makes the sun look like a K class star? A vibrant yellow sun is a lot better than a white one! In fact, I like to make textures for Celestia, and one of them was a G star that was bright yellow. But not as yellow as this.

Oh my, you're right. What's up with a K class Sun? (well at least it's not blue:)) We all know the sun's not white, but what 's this? Try to fix it.
