| Description: | Vega 1 arrived at Venus on June 11, 1985 and delivered a 1500 kg, spherical descent unit. The exploration probe was released some days before Vega 1's arrival at Venus and entered the atmosphere without any active inclination changes. The Venus probe contained a lander and a balloon explorer. To install Jack's add-on, copy the XYZ file to your Celestia\data folder, the 3DS model to your Celestia\models folder, the texture file to Celestia\textures\medres, and the SSC file to your Celestia\extras directory. This spacecraft can only be viewed between December 22, 1984 and December 16, 1986, so set your time in Celestia accordingly. |
