| Description: | The International Cometary Explorer was originally known as the International Sun/Earth Explorer 3 (ISEE-3) satellite, launched August 12, 1978. It was part of the ISEE (International Sun-Earth Explorer) international cooperative program between NASA and ESA to study the interaction between the Earth's magnetic field and the solar wind. Jack's add-on contains two files here. Use the first file for Celestia 1.4.1 and later, and download the second file ONLY if you have an older version of Celestia. You can view this spacecraft in Celestia between December, 1985 and November 1999, so remember to set Celestia's date accordingly. With the first file listed here, you also have a choice to use either the CMOD file (default) or the 3DS file. If you'd rather use the 3DS file, you'll have to alter Jack's SSC file. |
