I've tried it; there was no transparency and everything had the same texture. It looked more like a blue hole than a black hole.

Don't know why, but the center of this Black Hole is no longer black on my machine when using Celestia 1.5.0 Final. Users may have to modify the 3DS file to remedy this problem. I simply am not smart enough to fix it myself. Sorry.

for some people, the texture would have to be reduced to 1K for it to render,as is my case :(
