| Description: | Corot is an extra-solar planet-finding spacecraft which orbits the Earth and scans far away stars for new, extra-solar planets. Corot was launched on the 27th of December in 2006 by the French space agency. This model is a realistic rendition of the spacecraft, but it weighs in at an unpacked HEAVY size of 11.4 MB on Windows. NOTE: Please just extract the zip file to your Celestia\extras directory to install. The spacecraft can easily be found while orbiting the Earth. |

Excellent model. On Linux systems you will need to rename all the texture files to all uppercases.
eg: "Gfoil1.jpg" to "GFOIL1.JPG"
eg: "Gfoil1.jpg" to "GFOIL1.JPG"

On my list of Spacecraft orbiting Earth, this one is one of my favorites right up there with the ISS.
